Before you go an make a huge test and have your students fill out 90 bubble sheets, start with a practice quiz. Yeah, yeah, you don’t have time for all that. But why not save yourself some stress and take a dry run before the big moment?

Here is how to scan your first practice quiz:

Login to Quick Key at www.quickkeyapp.com and follow these steps:

1. In the Courses Page, find the “Exmaple Course” with 4 Example Students in it. Click the button that says “Print Pre-Slugged Bubble Sheets” and choose “Example Course” and then the 30-question sheet for free account holders.
2. Open the Example Quiz on your mobile or online and check out the answer key. Now mark some of those pre-slugged example bubble sheets as if you were a student. Remember: color inside the bubbles 😉
3. Open Quick Key on your mobile device (if you haven’t already), and find the “Example Quiz” in the list. Click “Scan” and confirm you will be scanning the Example Course.

NOW, AIM YOUR DEVICE’S CAMERA AT THE FIRST SHEET, LINE UP THE SHEET WITH THE GHOST IMAGE ON THE SCREEN, AND WATCH THE MAGIC HAPPEN!

Tip: You might need to move your device up or down slightly. Make small adjustments until you see the success message.

Android users: you might need to tap the screen once to focus your camera.

You can “View Results” on your device as you scan. And when you’re done, go back to www.quickkeyapp.com where you can print an Itemization Report of the Quiz you just graded.
