Teach For America chooses Quick Key as perfect solution for national student survey initiative

Actionable results allow teachers to continuously improve classroom practice and student learning experiences

CAMBRIDGE, MASS. (August 08, 2016) Quick Key, the mobile assessment software that improves student performance and eliminates hand grading, and Teach For America (TFA) have partnered to implement the time-saving and meaningful tool to delve into the student learning experience.

TFA wants to better understand how students perform academically and how they perceive their classroom experience. To achieve this, TFA is deploying a nationwide student survey using the Quick Key platform. The survey will allow TFA teachers, and regional and national directors, to observe and track the impact of various factors on the students’ classroom experience.

“We are ready to hit the ground running with this partnership,” LaNiesha Cobb Sanders, Vice President of TFA’s teacher preparation team, said. “Because Quick Key is so fast and easy to use, we expect to collect survey data from most, if not all, of our corps members and their students.”

The newly-released Quick Key 60-question survey form can be scanned with the free Quick Key mobile app for Apple and Android devices. The mobile app is integrated with a comprehensive web dashboard, which allows leadership to analyze the survey results on both the small and large scale.

Quick Key was the clear choice for TFA. Veronica Cabonor, TFA’s Chief of Staff for National Institutes, said “Quick Key’s mobile scanner makes collecting and analyzing survey results easier and faster than any other scanning solution or web-based method. This Quick Key partnership will allow our teachers to focus on what really matters, the learning experience and student growth.
