New Improved Bubble Sheets to be Released on Sep. 23, 2017

I have some exciting news: we have been working on improved bubble sheets for Quick Key over the summer, and on September 23rd, 2017 we are going to release updated mobile apps that use the new sheets. We will also be replacing the old sheets with the new ones in our blank sheet printing and pre-slugged sheet printing tools at www.quickkeyapp.com.

Why the new sheets? We have made some improvements:

  1. The new sheets contain “glyphs” that tell the scanner what sheet it is looking at, so you don’t have to tell the scanner which kind of sheet you are scanning before you start.
  2. The glyphs will also allow you to scan a mix of sheet types in one session.
  3. The new scanner uses the glyphs and the main bounding box as “targets” to help you align the bubble sheet with the camera on your mobile device. This targeting system was built to help new users learn how to scan more easily.

100-Question Bubble Sheet also being released on Sep. 23, 2017

Along with the new sheet designs will be a 100-question bubble sheet. This sheet will be available to all Quick Key Pro users, and anybody who has their Quick Key account through their institution. 

WARNING: if you update your mobile app after September 23rd, 2017, you will only be able to scan the new sheets. You will NOT BE ABLE TO SCAN ANY OLD SHEETS. So if you still have sheets to scan after September 23rd, 2017 (a Saturday), please be sure to not update Quick Key on your mobile device until after you have scanned all of your old sheets.
